Capcom have today released the demo for the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake. The demo is roughly 7gb and will take around half an hour to complete.
In the demo, you get to meet Mikhail and Carlos before exploring the city in order to make your way to the power station. You’ll be able to get a taste for the game’s arsenal, including the pistol and shotgun. There’s a heap of cool references to the original game hidden for fans to find too.
Of course, you’ll also get to run into Nemesis too, and get a feel for his unique brand of terror he’ll be bringing to things. He can even mutate zombies now to create tougher minions to battle. How fun.
Capcom have also announced a scavenger hunt for Mr. Charlie statues hidden in the demo – with twenty to find.
Upon completion of the demo, you’ll be rewarded with a new short trailer for the game including some very interesting ties to Resident Evil 2.
Resident Evil 3 releases on April 4th 2020 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The demo is free and available right now for Playstation 4 and Xbox One in Australia.
