DC Has Shown Off Its 2022 Slate Of Films In An Epic Trailer

Through an eye-catching minute-long teaser, DC has shown off its upcoming year in film. The teaser, titled ‘The World Needs Heroes’, gives us a look at their upcoming tentpoles The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Although we’ve seen plenty of The Batman, which is nearest its release date, this is the first substantial look we’ve had at Black Adam and the sequel to James Wan’s billion-dollar blockbuster Aquaman, plus there’s new footage for Andy Muschetti’s The Flash, though we’re still yet to see any meaningful footage of Michael Keaton’s return to Batman.

Throughout the brief teaser, we get good glimpses of Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, which is god-tier casting if you ask me, as well as Barry Allen’s new cowl, complete with retractable shades.

All of the films are currently set for release this year, on the following days:

  • The Batman (March 3)
  • Black Adam (July 28)
  • The Flash (November 4)
  • Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom (December 26)
