Square Enix hosted a special Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Broadcast today, where it revealed a closed beta test is coming this year for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis on iOS/Android.
If you’ve forgotten, Ever Crisis is a new, episodic mobile game that reimagines the entire story of Compilation of Final Fantasy VII with new chapters being released periodically. The deformed visual style and Active Time Battle system draw inspiration from the original game.
You’ll be able to sign up to the Closed Beta here, though it’ll be limited to specific regions which haven’t been announced as of yet.
