Silent Hill: Ascension’s Release Date Looks To Have Slipped Out Early

Just in time for Halloween (kind of).

Although Genvid Technologies and Konami have yet to officially confirm it, it looks like the Google Play Store has outed the release date for the upcoming interactive series, Silent Hill: Ascension, ahead of time.

A listing on Google Play, which allows eager fans to pre-register to be notified when the series drops, has seemingly confirmed that the series will debut on the appropriately-spooky date of October 31st – at least for folks in some time zones. Unfortunately for those of us perpetually living in the near future, the premiere lands at the slightly less appropriate time of November 1st at 12PM AEDT.

The Google Play listing also gives us a clear idea of what to expect from Silent Hill: Ascension when it does drop. Here’s what it has to say:

“SILENT HILL: Ascension is a thrilling new, Genvid Interactive Streaming Series where YOU, along with the rest of the community, will impact the canon of SILENT HILL.

“The series follows multiple main characters from locations around the world tormented by new and terrifying SILENT HILL monsters. Lurking in the shadows, these monsters threaten to consume people, their children, and entire towns as they’re drawn into the darkness by both recent murders and long-suppressed guilt and fears.

“Join this immersive journey as your decisions shape the story, leading to gripping moments of redemption, suffering, or damnation.”
