Today’s stacked The Game Awards event has brought with it plenty of accolades, updates, first looks and surprise reveals, awarding some of this year’s best and most exciting games and studios while setting up an exciting future to come.
For fans of world premieres, SEGA dropped the mic in one short trailer with five new game announcements, all of which looks to be reboots or new entries in classic franchises. In total we got announcements for new games based on:
- Jet Set Radio
- Shinobi
- Golden Axe
- Streets of Rage
- Crazy Taxi
We only got short snippets of each, and a vague promise that they’re on the way, but you can see how each is approaching revisiting those franchises in the sizzle reel below:
