After revealing earlier in the year that it was coming to Mac, and that we’d also be seeing a release on iPhone 15 Pro as well as iPad in 2023, publisher 505 Games has revealed that Death Stranding Director’s Cut has suffered a delay – perhaps not too surprising given it’s December 22nd and the game has yet to launch.
The game will now debut on Apple platforms at some point in 2024, with 505 writing in a post on social media, “Here at 505 Games and Kojima Productions, we are excited to launch Death Stranding Director’s Cut on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We just need a little more time! Stay tuned for a new release date in early 2024. We can’t wait to welcome more Porters to Death Stranding Director’s Cut.”

Kojima and his studio at Kojima Productions are busy of late, having recently unveiled its all-new game/media project at The Game Awards, titled OD, as well as working on the Death Stranding film adaptation with A24 and still having Death Stranding 2 on the go.
