Hot off of the news that a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase is happening in the early hours of tomorrow, The Pokémon Company has also jumped in with a presentation of its own. A brand-new Pokémon Presents has been announced for next Wednesday, February 28th at 1AM AEDT.
The presentation will go live on the official Pokémon YouTube channel, where it’s promised that fans will be able to view “exciting Pokémon news” in celebration of Pokémon Day 2024.

The last time we got a Pokémon Presents showcase was in August 2023, which showed us updates on the second part of Pokémon Scarlet/Pokémon Violet’s DLC expansion as well as a variety of animated series’, mobile apps and of course a couple of new classic Pokémon games for the Nintendo Switch Online service.
With a lot of that stuff now released, wrapped up or underway there’s seemingly not much left that fans know of, so this new Pokémon Presents could very well drop in some juicier news around the future of the Pokémon video games.
