The first six episodes of ARK: The Animated Series have been announced for an April 19th release in Australia, after they surprise dropped in other regions in the last day or so.
The series is an adaptation of the hit survival crafting franchise of the same name and follows 21st century paleontologist Helena Walker as she finds herself resurrected on a mysterious island populated by prehistoric beasts. It’s an interesting spin on the loose narrative framework of the games and also gives me massive Dino-Riders vibes, which is a huge plus in my books.
Whether or not the source material speaks to you, it’s also got an absolutely bonkers cast that consists of the likes of Michelle Yeoh, Karl Urban, Deborah Mailman, Alan Tudyk, Gerard Butler, David Tennent, Jeffrey Wright, Elliot Page, Madeleine Madden, Vin Diesel, Russel Crowe and a heap more.

The first six episodes of ARK: THE ANIMATED SERIES, an all-new original series based on the hit adventure video game ARK: Survival Evolved, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ Australia starting Friday, April 19. Part two of the season will debut with seven new episodes at a later date.
