The Future Games Show Has Locked In A Big New June Showcase

Future games? I'm still playing the past ones!

The Future Games Show is back and has set a date for its latest Summer Showcase event, with the event set to go off on June 8th, 2024.

While we don’t yet have an exact time, viewers will be able to tune in and/or catch up via the usual channels on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, X, Facebook and right here as part of our usual presentation recaps.

The showcase promises updates and deep dives into new and anticipated titles, exciting special guests, demo drops and more.

The Future Games Show is a multiformat games event with a mission to help viewers discover something new,” reads a press release announcing the date for the Summer Showcase. “The Spring Showcase in March, debuted nine world premieres including city-builder-with-a-twist Worshippers of Cthulhu, the genre-defying Blue Prince, and anticipated sequel Knights in Tight Spaces, plus many more.  The Summer Showcase promises more updates on blockbuster games and deeper dives into some of the most anticipated titles.

“The Future Games Show has accumulated over 120 million views in 2023 across all shows and platforms, featuring over 550 amazing games since the event’s inception in 2020. The Summer Showcase is expected to be the biggest, most varied show yet. Expect the return of the post-show Expansion Pack, demo drops in the Ones to Play section, new entries into the Ones to Watch yearbook, and more surprises, exciting hosts and special guests.”
