The Top 10 Games In Australia And New Zealand

What's charting lately?

What games have Aussie and New Zealand players been picking up most in recent weeks? That’s the question we’re answering every Monday with thanks to the weekly Top 10 ANZ Games Charts from the folks over at the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA).

The latest report, which comes from the week ending April 28th, 2024, saw the resurgence of Bethesda’s Fallout finally begin to subside with what was previously four spots in the top five alone to Fallout 4 simply taking up the #1 spot and the others all falling off entirely. In their place, Sony and SHIFT Up’s Stellar Blade (you can read our glowing review right here) has debuted at #2 in Australia and #3 in NZ with Helldivers 2 still going strong in the alternate slot.

Dead Island 2 has also found its way into the charts, likely due to a combination of sales and the launch of the latest DLC expansion, SoLA, and TopSpin 2K25 certainly found some fans with a #4 position in Australia. Ravenswatch is an interesting in the NZ chart at #9, an early access title that launched over a year ago, but likewise it did just receive a substantial update and by all accounts is a good time so it’s nice to see it sitting just above the likes of GTA Online.
