Wholesome Games has announced that the Wholesome Direct digital showcase will be back again as part of the June season of showcases, returning for its fifth annual edition on June 9th (AEST).
In case you’re yet to catch one, Wholesome Direct is a regular showcase that features well, the wholesome side of games with projects that are emotionally-rich, cosy, inspirational, joyful or some combination of them all. Prior Wholesome Direct digital showcases have features games that would go on to become instant classics like Venba, Unpacking, A Little to the Left, Dordogne, Toem and a heap more.

Wholesome Games is promising that this year’s Wholesome Direct showcase will feature a swathe of content for over 70 new and upcoming games, including new trailers, exclusive announcements, demo reveals and even some surprise releases from studios and publishers the likes of Humble Games, Fellow Traveller, Secret Mode, Curve Games, and more. Usagi Shima and Minami Lane, the first two projects within the new Wholesome Games Presents publishing initiative, will also feature. Jenny Windom will be hosting, with more guests yet to be revealed.
