The Top 10 Games In Australia And New Zealand

What's charting lately?

What games have Aussie and New Zealand players been picking up most in recent weeks? That’s the question we’re answering every Monday with thanks to the weekly Top 10 ANZ Games Charts from the folks over at the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA).

The latest report, which comes from the week ending May 12th, 2024, saw a very clear winner with the full “1.0” launch of open-world vampire survival RPG, V Rising, seemingly taking both nations by storm and entering in at the top spot following a couple of years of Early Access. Meanwhile, a few Star Wars games are still kicking around the leaderboards after the typical May the Fourth surge, while Stellar Blade and Helldivers 2 have both fallen off entirely.

For some reason our friends in NZ have taken a shine to a couple of Hazelight bangers with both It Takes Two and A Way Out cracking the #9 and #10 places, respectively. Must have been a good deal on the pair. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has also crept back in after a brief absence from both charts, and no doubt will remain there at least until the next entry in the Black Ops franchise likely launches later this year.

Take a look at the full Top 10 in both countries below:
