Gamescom Asia first took place during covid 2-3 years ago, which obviously wasn’t the most ideal time to be launching a brand new convention, but as a smaller sibling to the largest gaming conference in the world (OG Gamescom), it seems to be packing a bit more heat this year.

This year’s convention is taking place from October 17th to 20th at the Sunten Singapore Convention and Exhibition centre. You can find more info HERE.

The convention has announced that Capcom will be attending the conference to show off some of its upcoming games and it will also house the Capcom Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Singapore which is an official tournament for Street Fighter 6.

There will also be a number of indie developers featured in the expanded indie section that is in partnership with Indie Wavemakers and on the main stage, attendees can expect to see the voice of Raphael from Baldur’s Gate 3, Andrew Wincott as well as a performance from J-pop singer Shihori.

On the business side, Shawn Layer, former PlayStation Chairman (you may remember him from iconic moments sush as the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy reveal) will be attending for a chat about the industry.

Other big names from the likes of CD Projekt Red, MINTROCKET, SEGA and Neopetes will also be in attendance with a lot more publishers, and big names to be announced soon.
