Broken Roads Has Arrived On Nintendo Switch

Shadow drop (bear).

Broken Roads, the post-apocalyptic CRPG from Aussie developer Drop Bear Bytes, has been missing from the Nintendo Switch since it launched back in April, but owners of Nintendo’s handheld hybrid can finally get stuck into it with the game suddenly launching today.

“We’re all really happy to see Broken Roads launch on Nintendo this week” said Craig Ritchie, Game Director at Drop Bear Bytes in a press release. “We designed the game to run great on handheld from the beginning and we’re excited to see what Switch players think of it, especially since they’ll be experiencing the best version of the game from day one.”

You can find the game on the Nintendo Switch eShop right here, and currently at a 20% launch discount.

Although we found Broken Roads in a rough state at launch, it’s had a heap of huge and meaningful updates in the time since, with the studio dedicating a ton of time and work into improving not only the stability of things but fleshing out the entire experience and reacting to player feedback to shape it into an overall better experience. You can follow along progress on Drop Bear Bytes’ official blog here.

Along with the game’s Nintendo Switch launch, a new trailer has also dropped, which you can watch below:
