With Gamescom just around the corner and Geoff Keighley’s annual Opening Night Live showcase kicking off in just a week, the host with the most (advertising money) has started to tease what we’ll see at the event, including new looks at already-announced games as well as some surprises.
Keighley’s been dropping new info quite regularly in recent days, but overnight teased a bit of an initial line-up for the show, as well as confirmed that, yes – there will be new announcements.
In his tweet, Big Geoff confirmed at least six titles that’ll feature on the showcase stage, which include:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- MARVEL Rivals
- Dune Awakening
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
- Sid Meier’s Civilization VII
And in a follow-up reply, added, “Yes, there will be new game announcements.”

That’s definitely not all though, and we already know that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will also feature, along with an as-yet-unannounced new game from the developers of Little Nightmares, Tarsier Studios.
Some of the companies confirmed to be at Gamescom itself include 2K, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Capcom, EA, Konami, SEGA, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Xbox and more so there’s a lot of potential there.
Below are some more things you’ll need to know if you’re gearing up to watch the ONL event as it happens, which you’ll also find in our constantly-updated guide here.
