The Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024 Hype Trailer Has Arrived

Fancy a trailer for some trailers?

With Gamescom just around the corner and Geoff Keighley’s annual Opening Night Live showcase kicking off in just a few days, the host with the most (advertising money) has debuted his traditional promo reel for the event.

Keighley’s been dropping new info quite regularly in recent days, including some early teases of which games will be featured at the showcase, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage and an as-yet-unannounced new game from the developers of Little Nightmares, Tarsier Studios.

The minute-and-a-half reel teases a lot of the above, along with some quick cuts to games like Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO and Zenless Zone Zero – suggesting we’ll also get section dedicated to games with “zero” in the title. You can watch it right here:

Some of the companies confirmed to be at Gamescom itself include 2K, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Capcom, EA, Konami, SEGA, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Xbox and more so there’s a lot of potential there.

Below are some more things you’ll need to know if you’re gearing up to watch the ONL event as it happens, which you’ll also find in our constantly-updated guide here.
