Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024 Is On Tomorrow So Here’s When And Where To Watch In Australia

Should be a big show!

August is flying by, dear readers, and while that’s a fairly haunting revelation considering I can’t remember experiencing seven full months already this year, it’s also an exciting one because it means we’re very close to another big, annual gamescom Opening Night Live showcase.

This year’s event, which as usual represents the kicking off of gamescom in earnest, will take place tomorrow morning and will be co-hosted by organiser and stage enthusiast, Geoff Keighley, as well as talented esports and event host, Eefje Depoortere.

Keighley has already begun teasing what we’ll see on the ONL stage and dropped his traditional hype trailer, so below is a rundown of what there is to know so far – including when you’ll be able to tune in to the livestreamed event from your local time zone. Check it out:

What Games Will Be Shown During Opening Night Live 2024?

Geoff Keighley has so far confirmed we’ll get new looks at games like Marvel Rivals, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Dune Awakening, Monster Hunter Wilds, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the next game from Tarsier Studios, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII and no doubt plenty more.

Some of the companies confirmed to be at gamescom itself include 2K, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Capcom, EA, Konami, SEGA, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Xbox and more so there’s a lot of potential there.

Naturally, we’ll be bringing you coverage of the event with announcements as they happen and a round-up of everything shown after it finishes.

One thing we do know – there won’t be any Hollow Knight: Silksong.
