EA has confirmed that FIFA on the Nintendo Switch will in-fact be FIFA 18 and will release in-line with the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
EA’s Chief Competitive Officer, Peter Moore has also re-confirmed that it will be a custom built version of FIFA 18.
It was rumoured that the game would be modelled off the older PS3/Xbox 360 versions, however EA aren’t willing to confirm this as yet.
It’s promising that the game will release in-line with the next version of FIFA as we should at least hopefully get up to date teams and modes rather than a half-assed port of last year’s iteration.
FIFA 18 will release in September for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
