JB Hi-Fi has today sent out an email to those that preordered the SNES Classic Mini online. Due to the fact that they’ve had an overwhelming response to SNES Classic Mini and its accessories, they’ll be handling preorders a little bit different.
Due to the massive amount of consoles that they need to ship out, they’ll be starting to send them out on September 19th which means that you’ll need to have your delivery address updated as well as funds in your account by this date. JB has also advised that you’ll need to sign for delivery due to the fact that they won’t be able to replace if it gets lost.
Usually, JB won’t take funds until the release date (or day before) of a product, but they’ll be doing it almost two weeks early to ensure that as many arrive on release date as possible.
In Melbourne, the 29th of September is a public holiday for Grand Final day, so online orders won’t arrive until the following Monday.

We have had an overwhelming response to the SNES console and accessories, and we’re sure you are super excited to get your hands on it as soon as possible. We are committed to making sure this happens, and as a result we have some important information below we need you to read.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
If you would like to update the delivery address or request the cancellation of your pre-order, please reply to this email no later than Monday 18th September 12pm AEST. It will not be possible for us to action these requests after this time so please review your order now and let us know if you require any changes.
PAYMENT FOR YOUR ORDER
If you have placed your order using a credit card, we will be taking payment for your order from Tuesday 19th September. Please ensure there are sufficient funds in your account prior to this date to prevent unnecessary delays.
DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER
The release date for this item is Saturday 30th September, however due to order volume, we will commence packing orders from the 19th September. When we do this, it will trigger our system to send you an automated shipping confirmation email that we need you to please disregard.
Due to strict supplier embargo, your order will leave our Melbourne warehouse on Thursday 28th September. Tracking for your pre-order will be emailed to you on Friday 29th September. Due to public holidays in certain states, delivery to your nominated address will commence from
Monday 2nd October.
Finally, due to the value and limited release of this item, you will be required to sign for your order on delivery. This is a security measure to ensure that you receive your order safely. If you are not home to sign for the delivery, the carrier will leave a contact card so you can arrange redelivery or collection from a convenient location.
