When Nintendo Switch Online was first announced, it was confirmed that both NES and SNES games would be a part of the subscription.
Three months in and so far, all we’ve seen are NES games added to the service, but a datamine has revealed over 20 Super Nintendo games that will apparently join the service this year.
These games include:
- Super Mario Kart
- Super Soccer
- Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
- Demon’s Crest
- Yoshi’s Island
- Stunt Race FX
- Kirby’s Dream Course
- Pop’n Twinbee
- Star Fox
- Contra 3
- Kirby Super Star
- Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3
- Super Metroid
- Super Mario World
- Pilotwings
- F-ZERO
- Star Fox 2 (lol)
- Super Punch-Out!!
- The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
- Super Mario All-Stars
- Breath of Fire 2
Most of these games were on the Super Nintendo Classic Mini, but there’s a few additions. It’s unclear if this is the full list of Super Nintendo games coming to Switch or just the first wave.
