Super Nintendo World Will Have Interactive Bands And Be Like A Life Size Game When It Opens This Year

After months and months of leaks, we’ve finally got some solid information about Super Nintendo World.

It’s opening in Osaka, Japan mid year (before the Olympics start in late July) before it comes to Universal Parks in Hollywood, Orlando and Singapore.

At Super Nintendo World, you’ll be able to have a wearable wrist band called the ‘Power Up Band’ which will sync with a smartphone app. You’ll use these bands to collect coins and compete with other people in the theme park. You’ll also get Mario character stamps by visiting different parts of the theme park, essentially turning the massive theme park into an interactive experience. There will also be challenges in the theme park (like collecting virtual keys and the like).

It’s expected that the park will have three different worlds when it opens, with one confirmed to be a Mario Kart attraction.
