It feels like it’s been an age since we’ve seen a multi-game update to Nintendo Switch Online’s retro database, especially for those still on the standard subscription sans N64 and Mega Drive titles. At any rate, today sees three new titles added to the NES and SNES collections for subscribers to fire up and enjoy – notably the SNES version of the platforming classic Earthworm Jim 2.
The last time this game graced a Nintendo console was the Genesis/Mega Drive version available on the Wii through Virtual Console, so having the proper Nintendo edition with its alternate background art and weapon switching is nice enough to see.
