UPDATE: Ubisoft has now confirmed that Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will release on October 20th. Whilst we’ll be getting a better look at the game later this week, we got a look at the free movement system.
The Ubisoft Store looks to have leaked the release date for the upcoming Mario + Rabbids sequel, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. According to a listing that is live, the game is set to release on October 20th. It’s expected that this will be announced at tonight’s Nintendo Direct Mini partner showcase.
Aside from the release date, the listing as well as screenshots included within the listing seemed to reveal that Bowser is a playable character. The listing also revealed the Gold edition for the game as well as a subsequent season pass which will feature “new heroes, quests and battles” as well as a Galactic Prestige pack which has new weapon skills for your characters.

No doubt, this is one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months. The first game was fantastic and so far what we’ve seen of this one also looks to be equally exciting and now we have a release date.
