The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon TCG Live, the digital adaptation of its fiendishly-popular physical trading card game, is finally launching as a finished product next month on June 8th.
Pokémon TCG Live has been in beta for a little while now, with Aussies on most devices having access to it since the middle of last year, but this new date marks a final, global release.
For anyone who’s been playing Pokémon TCG Online, the older digital Pokémon TCG app that’s been around over a decade now but is being shut down the same week as TCG Live has its official launch, The Pokémon Company has created a comprehensive FAQ on migrating player card and accessories. The vast majority of cards are safe, but it’s a bit of a mixed bag as far as which other features can be carried across so it’s worth having a read through if you plan to make the jump.
