Nintendo revealed during its most recent Nintendo Direct that it would be dropping a free, playable demo for Pikmin 4 on June 29th – and that day has arrived!
The Pikmin 4 demo has just released on the Nintendo Switch eShop for curious and keen players to get stuck in and try the game for themselves. Progress from the Pikmin 4 demo will also carry across to the full game once it’s released.

Alongside the demo, a nearly-seven-minute Overview Trailer for Pikmin 4 has also debuted, taking fans through what to expect from the new game – from the very basics of Pikmin gameplay to brand-new features in this sequel like the adorable tiny pup, Oatchi, the underground world, castaway rescues, night expeditions, Dandori battles, time rewinding and a heap more.
