Mortal Kombat 1’s Roster Has Leaked With Switch Copies Already Out In The Wild

That's not very Mortal Kombat of them.

As seems to be commonplace for impending AAA releases in recent times, copies of Mortal Kombat 1 have found themselves in players hands significantly early and as a result we’re starting to see leaks (and eventually probably major spoilers) spill out onto the internet for all to see.

In the case of this game, at least one player has managed to nab a copy of the game on the Nintendo Switch of all platforms, and has of course shared images of the game’s roster of playable fighters and Kameo characters – which includes more than a few yet to be revealed for the game. While we obviously won’t be sharing any leaked images or spoilers here, the story was first picked up by mp1st.com and while WB Games has seemingly been working hard to scrub whatever they can find it’s definitely all still out there.

The same user who shared the roster images even uploaded footage of the game running on the Switch in an effort to give eager fans a glimpse at how it looks and performs – something we’re yet to see in an official capacity – but that was taken down from Reddit very swiftly.

One returning Kombatant that was revealed in the leak and we do now have official confirmation on is Nitara, who returns after a near-17-year hiatus and is voiced by none other than Megan Fox.

Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 19th, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Amazon currently has pre-orders for $84 including free shipping. There’s also a Premium Edition available which releases five days early on September 14th.
