A New Trailer For Mario Vs. Donkey Kong Has Dropped And Reveals New Content Coming To The Game

Wahoo!

Nintendo first revealed the remake of the GBA classic Mario vs. Donkey Kong during a Nintendo Direct late last year, and since then we’ve been keen to see more of what to expect from this new Switch version of the game.

Now, it’s dropped a shiny new trailer which not only offers up some exciting new footage of the game but reveals that there’s more content here than just what was on offer in the original release. The trailer reveals that the game will contain two entirely new worlds in Merry Mini-Land and Slipper Summit which will also include new obstacles to overcome. The game will also feature an easier Casual Mode along with co-operative play, time trials for ever level and updated bonus stages.

Here’s what Nintendo’s official website has to say about the Mario vs. Donkey Kong remake:

“Donkey Kong has stolen all the Mini-Mario toys from the factory, and it’s up to Mario to get them back! Run, jump, and backflip your way to retrieving them across over 130 levels in this puzzle-style twist on classic platforming action.

“The rivalry that originally heated up on the Game Boy Advance system returns on the Nintendo Switch system with newly added co-op play, brand-new worlds, updated music and visuals, and other new ways to play.”

Mario vs. Donkey Kong for Nintendo Switch launches on February 16th, 2024. Amazon has pre-orders at a discounted price of $59 with a pre-order price guarantee.
