As a bit of a Pixar kid, I’m excited that Toy Story has finally been confirmed as coming to Fortnite, Epic’s enormous free-to-play collision of brands and marketing that earlier last year was taken over by The Simpsons.
Confirmed via Fortnite’s IG, this newest Pixar crossover is set to kick into gear at reset on April 10th, which for us Australians is April 11th.
It’s expected there’ll be multiple waves of Toy Story skins added to the game as the release of Toy Story 5 approaches; however, here’s what players can grab during the first drop:
- Buzz Lightyear skin
- Emporer Zurg skin
- Pizza Planet Delivery Truck vehicle
- Toy Story Alien sidekick
For those expecting to get their hands on Woody during the first wave, I’ve got one thing to say.
While it’s interesting that Woody, the most iconic character from the series, isn’t a part of wave one, it’s fair to assume he’ll appear somewhere down the track.
