Activision has added a ‘Black Lives Matter’ statement that now plays out when booting up Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and plays before every Warzone match.
This statement reads:
BLACK LIVES MATTER
Our community is hurting.
The systemic inequalities our community experiences are once again center stage.
Call of Duty and Infinity Ward stand for equality and inclusion. We stand against the racism and injustice our Black community endures.
Until change happens and Black Lives Matter, we will never truly be the community we strive to be.
Call of Duty Warzone/Modern Warfare had a playlist refresh, came back in to this message, and it appears when you load into EVERY SINGLE GAME! Suck it, racists! #BlackLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/i20PVnu8wE

Infinity Ward announced earlier this week that it was taking further steps to stamp out racism in Modern Warfare. This includes measures such as:
- Adding additional resources to monitor and ID racist content
- Adding additional in-game reporting systems to increase the number of bans by hour
- Adding filters and greatest restrictions on name changes
- Evaluating in-game improvements to make it easier to report offenses
- Increasing permanent bans to root out repeat offenders.
