During The Game Awards’ live show for 2021, nestled amongst a ton of exciting reveals and well-deserved awards, Xbox quickly plugged a change coming to their Xbox Game Pass for PC service.
In a tongue-in-cheek video featuring rappers Lil’ Dicky and GaTa, the company revealed that it is rebranding the service as PC Game Pass – to hopefully eliminate confusion about whether it provides gamers with an evolving library games for consoles or PC.
The Xbox Game Pass Twitter account supplemented the announcement with this sly tweet:

Four brand new day-one game releases for PC Game Pass were also revealed in a tweet from GaTa’s account, which the PC Game Pass Twitter shared. The list includes Sniper Elite 5, Pigeon Simulator, Trek to Yomi and a yet-to-be-announced game from Hugecalf Studios:
