Developer Triband has revealed that What The Car?, its wheelie good entry in the What The franchise that launched exclusively on Apple Arcade last year to wild acclaim, is getting a PC release this year on September 5th.
As a bonus, a playable demo is also already available for PC players right here.
Here’s what What The Car’s newly-minted Steam page says about the game:
NOT YOUR TYPICAL RACING GAME
You’re a car with legs! Race through hundreds of unique levels: jump, fly with jetpacks, climb tall buildings, deliver packages, and do pretty much everything you can’t do in a normal racing game.
BE A CAR AND EXPLORE THE WORLD
It’s not all about the need for speed. Explore the many islands to meet new friends, find hidden treasures or solve quirky puzzles. Hint: Look behind the waterfalls!

You will be racing, but it’s never what you expect.

Hint: Adding cute bears and speed pads that go vroom works every time!
