PlayStation Is Giving Aussies The Chance To Win Real Life PlayStation Trophies

PlayStation Australia has announced PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters, which is an initiative to allow gamers to gain real life Platinum trophies.

PlayStation has created four extremely high quality Platinum Trophies. These will be given to the first four gamers who unlock the platinum trophy for four specific titles. Once completed, the gamer must snap a screenshot of the digital unlocked Platinum trophy and Tag PlayStationAU on either Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #PlusPlatinumHunters.

FIFA 18 will be the first game that gamers will have the opportunity to platinum and subsequently get the trophy (if they get the platinum before anyone else).

Gran Turismo and Call Of Duty WWII will follow on October 18th and November 3rd. The final title will be announced a later date.

You can read more about the competition as well as find all the terms and conditions right here. We’ve also included information about the games that will come to the Plus Platinum Hunters competition below.

  • Gran Turismo Sport (18 October): Put your foot down for the most authentic and visually stunning racing simulator ever made. Buckle up and grab the steering wheel in Polyphony Digital’s full throttle driving experience. Go bumper-to-bumper and make racing history, this Platinum Trophy is one for speed lovers.
  • Call of Duty™: WWII (3 November): Return to the 20th century’s most iconic armed conflict, with the dramatic backdrop that first inspired the hugely-popular Call of Duty series – now redefined by Activision for a new gaming generation. For the chance to win the Call of Duty: WWII Platinum Trophy, players must embark on an intense journey across Europe’s vast theatre of war with intense moment-to-moment combat.

This is an amazing initiative. Trophy hunting is a very serious challenge that many gamers take pride in, so it’s great to see PlayStation rewarding their most loyal fans who take this very intense challenge.
