Detroit: Become Human Finally Has A Release Date And It’s Just A Few Months Away

Controversial auteur David Cage has taken to the Playstation Blog this evening to announce that his thematically heavy game Detroit: Become Human will be coming to the Playstation 4 this year on the 25th of May. It wasn’t clarified whether this was a global date or not, but we’ll be sure to update you when or if any local details roll in. Detroit: Become Human is developed by Quantic Dream, the studio that brought you Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls for the Playstation 3, and later Playstation 4. The game follows three android beings who were designed to obey but suddenly start feeling emotions. The resulting actions will potentially change the world.

I myself got to play Detroit: Become Human last year at EB Expo, and initially walked away underwhelmed. After speaking with my group of twelve or so, I realised just how ambitious this game was – every one of us played the same demo but had a different experience in one way or the other. I can’t wait to see how the story plays out.

Detroit: Become Human releases exclusively for Playstation 4 on May 25th 2018.
