The Wolf Among Us 2 Has Been Delayed To 2019

Because nothing in life is fair, Telltale Games has announced that the highly-anticipated second season of The Wolf Among Us will no longer make the originally announced end of 2018 release window. Instead, it’s now expected to release sometime next year.

Based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comics, The Wolf Among Us was a gripping murder mystery set in a gritty noir world where fairy tale characters were forced to live alongside humans. Its second season, announced last year, has been sought after, and even demanded, by Telltale fans since.

The delay announced on Telltale’s website is thanks to “fundamental changes” undertaken at the studio since the game’s announcement.

Telltale conclude the unfortunate announcement by explaining that the delay of The Wolf Among Us 2 “will allow us not only to focus on quality but also to experiment and iterate in order to craft something truly special. Ultimately our goal is to deliver an experience deserving of the passion you’ve consistently shown for The Wolf Among Us, and these extra months will give us the time we need to do our best work.”
