Though Telltale has been sheepish about the future of The Wolf Among Us this week, it’s only because they wanted to keep it a surprise for San Diego Comic-Con. At the convention, it was announced that, off the back of overwhelming demand from fans, The Wolf Among Us would be returning for a second season next year.
Jesus wept. Finally, it’s happening.
The confirmation of the season came during Telltale’s Summer Update video where it was confirmed that the same cast and crew would be involved, though it’s said to be a fresh story arc for Bigby and his Fables friends.
It seems likely, especially with some of Telltale’s past comments about the first season’s ending, that the cliffhanger will go unresolved, leaving it up to fans to decide in their own minds what actually happened there.
But nonetheless, we’re rapt to hear it’s finally happening and that we’ll be getting The Wolf Among Us 2 in the first half of 2018.
