The PlayStation 5 Will Be Compatible With PS4 Games And PlayStation VR

Sony has just dropped the first PlayStation 5 details out of nowhere.

We know that it will be releasing in 2020 and pack some petty powerful tech, but most importantly, it was revealed in the Wired article that their next-gen console would be compatible with both PlayStation 4 games as well as the existing PlaySation VR unit.

“Because it’s based in part on the PS4’s architecture, it will also be backward-compatible with games for that console.” said Mark Cerny to Wired.
