After delaying both The Last of Us Part II and Ironman VR with no new release date, Sony has now confrirmed that it will refund all digital preorders for both games to those who preordered on the PlayStation Store.
The games have both also been removed from the PlayStation Store meaning that you can no longer pre-order them. This is standard procedure when a game is delayed indefinitely, but obviously a big deal for The Last Of Us part II, which is arguably Sony’s biggest first-person exclusive to launch this generation.
The statement on Sony’s support site says:
The Last of Us Part II and Iron Man VR have been delayed. All digital pre-order consumers will automatically receive a refund, Please check your email for more details.
It’s unclear when both games will release, but you’d have to think that it will be some point this year.
