Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Looks To Be This Year’s Call Of Duty Game

It’s being reporting that this year’s iteration of Call Of Duty will be called Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The leak was originally posted by known COD insider Okami13_ but has been backed up by Eurogamer. Similar to Modern Wafare last year, this is expected to be a soft reboot of the Black Ops series. A reveal of the game is expected in the coming weeks, as Call Of Duty games are typically revealed in May.

Call Of Duty Warzone has begun teasing the reveal with locked bunkers, which appear as though they’ll keep hinting at the Cold War setting as time goes on. Players have already been able to access one of the bunkers which currently has telephones inside which ring and play out a Russian voice which translates to:

“All forces, the base is captured! Change the encryption!” “Right away!” “Roger.” “…They’re getting closer!”

It shouldn’t be long before we know more about the next Call Of Duty game.
