EA has announced that both FIFA 21 and Madden 21 will upgrade to the PS5 versions for free when purchased on PS4/Xbox One. It’s a new system that EA is calling ‘Dual Entitlement’ which basically means that if you buy either FIFA 21 or Madden 21 before the release of their 22 versions, you’ll get a license to upgrade for free.
The content that will come across includes Ultimate Team content, progression in Volta, but unfortunately online seasons, co-op seasons, career mode and pro club will not come across. FIFA 21 will release on October 6th whilst Madden will release on August 28th.
EA has said that both games will take advantage of haptic feedback on the PS5 so you can feel the impact of shots, catches, passes, kicks, tackles and hits.
The games will have incredibly fast load times letting you get to kick off in seconds. Environments will look better than ever thank to a new lighting system. Spatialised audio will be a thing. You’ll be able to hear the roar of the crowd to bring you even more immersive experiences. Weather will be taken to the next level with rain-drenched sidelines and winter snow.
