Images from what appears to be a production factory have leaked showing off what appears to be the PS5 face plates. The images appeared on a Chinese message board but the whole thread has now been removed.
The series of images shows off the side parts of the PS5, which appear to have hooks to clip in and clip off. This could be a way of adding in the external SSD, or a way to customise the look of your PS5 (or both).
It’s been thought for some time that the PS5 face/side plates would interchangeable after the VP of UX Design at PlayStation confirmed that the console would be “customisable in ways that previous generations weren’t”.
