It may have been missed, but the Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Alpha is happening for all PS4 owners this weekend. As of right now, you’re able to pre-load the Alpha before it starts this weekend (it’s about 21 GB).
WHEN DOES THE CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS COLD WAR ALPHA START?
The Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Alpha will begin at 3:00am AEST on September 19th and run until September 21st. A beta will take place in the future as well, so this won’t be your last chance to play the game before it launches on November 13th.
WHAT MODES/MAPS DOES THE CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS COLD WAR ALPHA HAVE?
The Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Alpha has three modes in 6v6 modes: Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Domination. These three modes are playable on Miami and Satellite map types.
There’s also the Combined Arms: Domination mode which is new to Black Ops: Cold War. It’s 12v12 and includes vehicles such as Tanks, Snowmobiles and Wakerunners. This will take place on Armada and Crossroads.
You’ll also get to try out things like the new scorestreaks, wildcards and all the of the other new features that Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War brings. Those that play the Alpha will also get a Calling Card which will be accessible in Modern Warfare, Warzone and Black Ops Cold War when it releases.
