UPDATE: PlayStation Australia has now confirmed that Stan and 7plus will both be on the PS5 on day one, with other local apps to come in the future.

Sony has announced the media apps that will be on PS5 day one and it includes Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix, Spotify, Twitch and YouTube. Four of these apps will also get their own designated button on the PS5 media remote. These are Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and Spotify.
Additional steaming apps that are coming to PS5 include Amazon Prime Video, MyCanal, Hulu, Peacock, and more. In terms of Australian media apps, we’ll need to wait for confirmation to see if streaming services such as Kayo, Binge, 10play, 7plus and 9Now will have apps on day one.
It’s also been confirmed that these media apps will all be in a separate part of the PS5 UI, rather than lumped in with games.
