With PS5 stock flowing into Australia quite steadily (but not fast enough) in the last few weeks, we can confirm that more stock is set to arrive into the country this week. So far, we know what’s happening with two retailers but it’s inevitable that other retailers will likely get stock this week if not next.
JB HI-FI
JB Hi-Fi is once again taking pre-orders instore for an EXTREMELY small shipment arriving later this week, but again, some stores have expression of interest lists with 100s of people already on them, so you’ll need to check with your store to see if you can get added to their list. Other stores do not have any list and will allow you to pre-order the upcoming stock. It’s worth calling your store before going in but please be kind as stock is still limited.
With stores closed in Melbourne until at least Thursday, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to pre-order until at least then.
EB GAMES
As far as we know, EB Games is also getting a similarly small allocation either this week or next (depending on which state), but this will still be to fill those Wave 3 2021 pre-orders from September. It’s going to differ store by store, but it doesn’t seem like there will be enough to fill all outstanding pre-orders. There isn’t a need to contact stores if you have a pre-order as they will no doubt be in touch once they have stock in store.
AMAZON
Amazon is still worth checking in on from time to time as they usually put stock live randomly at any given time as soon as they go live. You can find those links below.
As always, we will let you know on our Twitter account as soon as stock hits at any retailer.
