Bloober Team’s The Medium is coming to PS5. The game was formerly an Xbox Series X/PC exclusive, but it will now release on PS5 on September 3rd.
The game will be released at retail on PS5 in a special edition called The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition and include a steelbook, soundtrack and a 32 page hardcover artbook.
We gave The Medium a 6.5/10 in our review and said: The Medium is Bloober Team’s most ambitious game in terms of scope and scale. It successfully leverages fixed camera angles and strong sound design to create a horror experience that’s unashamedly nostalgic. Despite its successes, the game fails to capitalise on its unique dual reality mechanic and ultimately feels too similar to the studio’s prior efforts in Blair Witch and Observer.
