The Call Of Duty: Vanguard Alpha Is Open To All PS5/PS4 Owners This Weekend

Activision has announced that the Call Of Duty: Vanguard Alpha is taking place this weekend for all PS4/PS5 owners.

The Alpha will feature the brand new Champion Hill mode which sees squads of two or three go up against other squads in a round-robin death match. Everyone starts with the same loadout and you can collect cash by taking enemy lives and picking up drops scattered around the match, and then use it during buy better weapons/gear between combat rounds. The new Champion Hill mode takes place on a larger map that is split up between the Airstrip, Trainyard, Market and Courtyard.

The Alpha will run from August 28th at 3am until August 30th at 3am (Saturday to Monday). Preload for the Apha begins today at 8pm. You can find the PS5 Alpha HERE and PS4 Alpha HERE (once it’s live tonight).

Activision has said that most PlayStation owners will not need a PlayStation Plus subscription, so we’re assuming this means that anyone with a PlayStation Network account can access it.

The Call Of Duty: Vanguard Beta has also been announced. It’ll be open for PS4/PS5 owners who have pre-ordered the game from Friday 10th of September till Monday 13th of September. The second weekend will be open to those who have pre-ordered the game on other platforms (for the first few days) before it becomes open to everyone from September 18th until Tuesday 21st of September.

Right now, Amazon has the best price for Call Of Duty: Vanguard. You can pre-order it for $98 on PS5/Xbox Series X or $88 on PS4/Xbox One.
