Deep Silver has announced Saints Row at Opening Night Live. Yep, that’s right. This is a brand new game in the franchise with an original story and characters that pretty much forgets all of the crazy stuff that has happened in the last few games. It’s releasing on February 25th, 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
Seemingly inspired by the earlier games in the franchise, the new Saints Row will take place in Santo Ileso which is the largest open world that a Saints Row game has had. The game will have online co-op which will let friends drop in and drop out at any time.

Just like every other game in the series, the game will have intense gunplay, loads of vehicles and lots of weirdness (although it’s been pulled back a bit and seems much more grounded than the last few games.
