The First Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition Gameplay Footage Has Leaked And It’s Looking Good

Just a few days ahead of launch, the first proper Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition gameplay footage has leaked.

The first gameplay footage features the remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas running on PS4 and appeared on Reddit earlier today It shows off small snippet of gameplay and it’s looking really good. In particular, the draw distance of the game looks a lot better than what we had in the PS2 version of the game.

Speaking about the game specifically and how it runs on PS4, the user said: “Traffic feels the same on ps4 but I’m guessing pc and ps5 will bump that up. Frame rate is solid. Feels like san Andrea’s with quality of life improvements. This aiming is very similar but you have sensivity sliders etc. Driving feels similar but tighter too which is nice shooting feels exactly the same to be honest couldn’t tell the difference.”

THE BEST GRAND THEFT AUTO TRILOGY DEFINITIVE EDITION DEALS:

Previously, Rockstar had only released cutscene snippets of gameplay, so this is our first look at the actual gameplay providing 40 seconds of gameplay. It’s unclear where the leaked footage has come from. It’s a bit of a weird one given the physical version is still a month away and obviously the game can’t really release early digitally.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition releases on November 11th digitally and will release on December 6th physically for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Our review won’t be too far away hopefully.
