Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio have announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem will be releasing on October 18th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC with the game also launching on Xbox Game Pass.
Alongside the announcement, 10 minutes of gameplay was shown off which showcased Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive quarry overwhelmed with soldiers that are very much trying to capture them.
Obviously, being a next-gen only game, it looks quite nice and a decent step ahead of the original game, which was extremely beloved by gamers and critics alike.
The game is also getting a Collector’s Edition which you can check out HERE. It’ll set you back $189 USD ($290 AUD) and includes:
- A 21cm/8? resin statuette of “Amicia & Hugo” in their iconic costumes in the game, detailed and painted by Asobo Studio
- A 45rpm vinyl with two tracks composed by Olivier Derivière
- Three “A4 illustrations” lithographs of the game
- A metal Hugo’s Feather brooch inspired by the feather ornaments that Hugo wears
