Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake

The First Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Teaser Was Apparently Posted On Twitter And Quickly Deleted

It's happening!

UPDATE: We are investigating, but at least part of the below teaser trailer appears to be from an Unreal Engine 5 Quixel asset video here, which would lead us to question its integrity. This does not alter the validity of a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake being worked on by Virtuous (with the video posted a week ago from a Virtuous studio tour having a very interesting book in it).

Metal Gear Solid 3

It’s been long rumoured that Virtuous (a well known developer/porter) is working on a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake for Konami.

This was first reported by VGC and then subsequently confirmed by a LinkedIN profile that revealed that the company was working had been working on a remake of a AAA game since 2018 with  “[triple-A] quality level art”, 4K graphics and “set piece destruction”.

It now seems that we could have our first teaser of the game courtesy of Virtuous’ own Twitter account which apparently posted a video teaser revealing what we believe to be our first look at forest environments from the game as well as a string of morse code that revealed the date ‘December 8th’ which is the same day as The Game Awards.

This all but confirms not only the fact that a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is on the way from Virtuous, and that we’re just over a month away from its reveal at The Game Awards. Metal Gear Solid 3 would be a great place to start for new fans of the series as the game is set 31 years before the events of the original Metal Gear game.

The Game Awards are set to take place on Friday, December 9th. Normally it’s at a great time in the day for Aussies, but we’ll let you know when we know more.
