The Simpsons Hit And Run Remastered Was Just Seemingly Confirmed

Let's gooooo!

There’s been rumours swirling about a The Simpsons Hit And Run Remaster (we’ve heard them too), but this was seemingly just confirmed by the show’s creator at D23.

Speaking on a panel about The Simpsons at D23, Matt Groening was asked about there ever being another The Simpsons Hit and Run game to which he responded “I think the original game is coming back in some form…”

The current showrunner Matt Selman then interjected to say “…or not,” as obviously the remaster isn’t to be announced yet and will be quite a huge deal once it is.

The Simpsons Hit And Run was released in 2003 for the PS2 and GameCube and was a hilarious take on Grand Theft Auto letting you play as the family, drive around an open-world Springfield and complete missions around town.

With how much is being said about this remaster, and how much I’ve personally heard, I don’t think it’ll be long before this does eventuate and we see this officially revealed.
